Rethinking HIV and Refugees in Africa
In the heart of West Africa’s largest refugee settlement (Adagom I refugee settlement, Ogoja, Cross River State, Nigeria), the Knowledge-Action Hub (KAH) emerges as a catalyst of change. Our project, “Rethinking HIV and Refugees,” is dedicated to creating a sustainable change in the lives of young refugees, offering a safe space for education, support, and engagement in comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights education, harm reduction and the response to HIV.

At the Knowledge-Action Hub, we're driven by a singular mission: to establish a pioneering walk-in center where young refugees can access comprehensive sexual education and a range of related services. Our focus is not just on HIV prevention alone, but on building a foundation of knowledge and resources that empower refugees to lead healthier, more informed lives.
